Social Responsibility

SA 8000 Management System

The international standard that allows certifying social responsibility is SA 8000 (Social Accountability). As of now, this regulation can be applied to companies in every industry, except for the extractive industry.

SA 8000 is the new Standard for the certification of companies’ ethical and social commitment and appeases company ethics and profit generation.

Complying with the general structure of all other international Quality Management Systems regulations, SA 8000 is based upon the compliance with UN’s Declaration of the Rights of the Child, ILO’s Conventions, as well as the Universal Declaration of the Human Rights.

LATTANZIO Safety Quality Environment S.r.l. is a valuable reference for all those companies intending to face the market with the highest accountability and transparency, by complying with the ethical principles of Social Responsibility.

Companies willing to implement this system have to abide by minimum requirements set by SA 8000 standard in the field of:

  • Child Labour;
  • Forced Labour;
  • Health and safety at work;
  • Freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining;
  • Discrimination
  • Disciplinarian proceedings;
  • Working Hours;
